Flooring is often treated as an afterthought in a fit-out, specified at the end once the equipment order is already placed — and it shows, in floors that are the wrong thickness for the load they carry, the wrong finish for the traffic they see, or installed without the subfloor prep that keeps seams from lifting within a year. We specify flooring alongside the equipment and layout plan from the start, matching material, thickness, and finish to each zone's actual use, so the floor and the equipment sitting on it are considered as one system rather than two separate purchases.
